3D lenses and smallest MP3

A couple of updates in Tuesday morning...do you guys love watching pictures of movies in 3D? well now you can! With Loreo's 3D Lens-in-a-cap offer you pictures taken using your DSLR (doesn't matter what brand) into a 3D pictures, of course you will need the special glasses to see the effect or you could buy Loreo's software to see the effect (this will be sold separately).

This haven't reach here yet, but it will eventually. Since most of the newest camera and video camera model let you take 3D picture and video, this will help those old model to have the same feature. Though the price in US is about $179, so it's not going to be cheap here.

Another update is this...the world's smallest MP3 player! Dubbed Kube, the MP3 player looks only like a cube. It weight only 18 grams! Now don't be fool by the appearance, it can hold up to 8000 songs with it external micro SD memory card from 2gb to whooping 32gb!

Though, I personally like control on my music player, particularly in choosing what song to listen too, and not pressing button to skip it along.

Time has change, I haven't seen anyone using MP3 for a long long time, nowadays people opt to use cellphone to listen to music, but if you interested, and just feel the urge to be different from others, than why not try this? the price is $35 US dollars, so it will probably price at about RM100 here.

Later then

iPhone 4

so this may not come as a surprise to most of you. Apple just launched it newest iPhone 4 yesterday..with tagline

"This changes everything. Again"

some of you is not a fan of Apple, but this is not about who's best and who's not..this is just educational review of the new iPhone

one of the most prominent and newest features is the front camera on the phone that is use for making video call, this camera is not available in iPhone 2G,3G or 3GS..however the video call can only be made using iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 via wifi using an apps call FaceTime (clever marketing), however Apple is working on making this available for all networks and services (I don't keep my hope high on this)

another big different is the retina display that offers highest resolution display that have ever been build into a phone...so no more dotted display, and clean sharp images..with LED backlight to top things up, the images and display is mind blowing!

another great upgrade is multitasking! this come after several complains that the iPhone can only run one application at one time, but with this upgrade, you can change to other apps easily!

a new 5 megapixel camera with LED flash will give clearer and better pictures everytime, well..I don't know about EVERYTIME..but it's a great improvement from the other iPhone that doesn't even have a flash..and the best part of the camera is that it can now record a full 720p HD video!

the new iPhone 4 also give you 40% more power, because the battery inside has been build bigger, with 7 hours of talk time, 40 hours listening to audio, 10 hours watching video, and 300 hours of standby

now, you may read and ask yourself, there has to be something wrong or bad with it, unfortunately, you are right, due to larger battery, the iPhone 4 can only use micro sim card, what is it? exactly! micro sim is not yet available in Malaysia, however, press release on when iPhone 4 will hit Malaysia said second half this year! probably around September or August! can't wait!

another great thing about the iPhone 4 is that it's environmentally approve! you know how much I love to talk about the environment, and this came as a good news..at last a big company concern about the environment..though there maybe some issues that I don't want to point out here

now, more info can be read here in Apple's iPhone 4 official website

and here's a video summarize all the best features of iPhone 4, God please let this be here next year or this year if possible!

Sony Nex3 and Nex5

so here's a good gadget for all those crazy photographer out there!!

Sony unveils the new Nex3 and Nex5...I have no confirmation that this has landed in Malaysia..but it's a new addition to the growing popularity of compact camera with capability of changing lenses..

Nex3

Nex5

now, the both Nex3 and Nex5 are of Alpha series from Sony, although that doesn't mean that they can be equip with all the lenses..the differences with Nex3 and Nex5 and their specifications can be read in the full article Nex3 and Nex5

the best part of the camera is how SMALL it is build, you can see in the comparison below, with the lenses equip, the camera is bulky in comparison with other camera, one of its' downside

Nex3 compare to other camera in market

Nex5 comparison with Lumix GF1

smaller means easier mobility, compare to the big DSLR, however, smaller doesn't always mean good..

another thing lacking, is probably the screen is not a touch screen, other than that, this is a really compact, fun, and dynamic digital camera, great for beginners or even advance users., or even those that enjoy making memory last forever..hope to see this in Malaysia real soon
