Vampires Suck review.

Vampires Suck! It's a movie title of the latest spoof on all vampires series that you ever knew, Twilight, The Vampires Diaries and True Blood, with addition to a lot of other great title. (Gossip Girl also included)

The whole movie revolve around the 1st and 2nd Twilight movie, intertwine with all the other vampires series. It fills with sarcasm that is funny if you understand it. The jokes are old school, dumb remarks, some dirty jokes and a lot of unexpected punch lines, really unexpected punch lines.

So for those that doesn't follow the 1st and 2nd movie of Twilight, you wouldn't understand at all about this movie, either you watch Twilight, or read the synopsis somewhere. But that's not all the movie make fun about, it targets George Clooney, Lady Gaga and even the Kardashians, hehe.

We have to make it clear now, this is not your normal movie, normal being said to be a movie with plot development, no matter how bad the movie is, no..this is not your normal movie, so don't expect it to win any awards, well maybe an award for the worse movie.

One thing though, I wouldn't pay to watch this movie in the cinema, it just because it's kinda getting lame towards the end. Plus it also has some weird gay jokes that just disturbing to watch. I would rather wait for a DVD or watch in on YouTube (if someone sane enough to upload it).

All and all, if you have nothing to do on your weekend's afternoon, try this movie, it would ensue laughter to your day!

Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang review

Here's another round of movie review, I have the honour of watching the new Nanny McPhee's movie, Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang. If you guys watched the first movie, it's about a story of a nanny, called McPhee. She is sent to help those in need, with one simple way of doing her job, "when you need me, but don't want me, I will be here, if you don't need me, but want me, I have to go". With a little help, well a lot of help from magic, Nanny McPhee put even the most troublesome kid into line.

The 2nd installment of the movie start with a single mother, Isabel Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal) with her hectic life after her husband was enlisted into the 2nd World War, trying to balance her busy life with her 3 child. Problem started when cousins from town come to the country side after being sent away by their mother, Isabel's children hated their cousins and were fighting all the time, that is until Nanny McPhee appear. Where she started a new 5 rules

But a more sinister hand is at work, Mr.Phil, Isabel's brother-in-law, who is also the co-owner of the farm that Isabel are maintaining, is trying to sell it to someone he lost to in a gambling. Unknowing to Isabel, Mr.Phil work his dark hand around the farm trying to make her sign an agreement so that she would sell the farm, but all were stop by the magical power of Nanny McPhee.

With the tagline, "You'll Believe Pig Can Fly!" the 2nd installment offer a lot more laugh. A very easy and fun movie for the whole family. Although the story is a little short, and seems like the plot did not develop, it also help to remember that this is a family movie, what children love most is the laughter and magic in it.

A must watch for family that love simple story of laughter, fun, love and magic.

just an opinion

It's been a long time since I write something other than..well...you know, stuffs..hehe

So here I'm back, and don't worries, I won't talk about any geeky stuffs in this post, but I do want to talk about some serious matters that are going on now. Before that, how are you guys? Have it been a great fasting month? It almost raya, thought I'm not so excited about it, why? Well because this year, I'll be spending raya in Kelantan, which is sucks because I only have like 1 uncle there, and the rest of the family is distance to me. So that's why..haih

And no, I'm still unemployed for those that wondering, it's not easy getting a job in this time of year to I guess, or maybe I'm being a bit choosy, well I did learn geology, it's not like there are a bunch of small local companies that would take just about everyone that learn geology. Nevertheless, I don't mind, if I can't go into geology, I will just apply for something else, try new things. Maybe go do a lot of travelling.

Anyway, this post is not about me, did you heard about the construction of a mosque in NY ground zero? (where there used to be the World Trade Centre) . I want to have a say in this, first of all, it just NOT just a mosque, the whole place will include a basketball court, a swimming pool, a whole bunch of recreational areas, and then there's a place to pray. So it's not JUST about the mosque. The people that oppose the idea, said it's insensitive to the people of New York, well aren't you being shallow? The people that into terrorist does not belong to any religion, no religion condone an act of terrorism, they are just bad people, that should be hang and kill. Do not associate Islam with terrorist, get the fact right. Oh and one more thing, the mosque is not going to build be build on top of ground zero, it is NEAR the place, another reminder to get the fact right.

I'm not being insensitive here, but won't hate just fuel more hatred? Wasn't that proved in our long history and existence on Earth here? Sometimes, people just want to see mayhem and chaos. Another thing that really make me angry is the comment on the newest Miss USA, Rima Fakih? The first muslim to won the pageant. She said that we should not build the mosque there, with I quote, "we should be more concern about the tragedy that religion" link here, SERIOUSLY? Shouldn't religion be the first thing in any muslim sound mind? But hey, it's her opinion, I only hope she said that just to get popularity vote.

Well, that's all my ranting, I could say more, but then, who would want to read the whole thing? So I left with a very cute picture of a cat with his/her mom and a video that Aysha introduced to me, watch and laugh!
