It's a sad sad day. Today, marks the end of the typewriter. Some may never heard of the typewriter, let alone see it. Here's a picture if you don't know what it is. Godrej and Boyce, the last company that manufactured this revolutionary device is closing it's plant in India, with only few hundreds machine left in stock. They were at one point producing 10,000 typewriters in a year.
You can say that the typewriter make way for the modern QWERTY keyboard. I can still remember the first time I used it, and the clicking sound that echo in the house. You will be missed. Rest In Peace (1867-2011).
On a much more futuristic story, there's a revolution in how laptop are going to look like in the future.
