not studying is FUN

ok..so here's another post about films reviews...told you I haven't been studying a lot..

there are several film that I would like to recommend here, and some you shouldn't waste your time watching it ok?

ok, the first movie is Couples Retreat, a film stars by Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell and many more big names (seriously). It tells a story of 4 couples that befriend one another but with stories of their own. When one of the couple are considering a divorce after a fail attempt of getting pregnant, they all decided (more likely drag into) to go for a vacation / therapy in Eden, a beautiful paradise-like vacations. Only that it isn't a vacation like they all imagine.

I give this movie a good solid 3.5/5 stars because of all the big hollywood's names, and also the fun and funny storyline. However, it could use more drama, somehow it feels too short..

the next thing after Blair Witch's Project, Paranormal Activity has claim many critics saying it's the best thing in horror. While I beg to differ, while some may consider it very scary, I somehow feels that it's pretty normal..seriously...almost all the tricks in the horror guide book are bein used in the movie, from strange noises to moving stuffs. However there are no running with video cam in this movie, which makes it a lot easier to watch without the urge to vomit. To those that thinks this is a real story,STOP, it is not a real story, it just a story written from the writer from their true experience, the only difference is that their experience don't have demonic possession in it. Overall the movie is disappointing, for me at least.

I give this film a 3/5 stars only.

Stan Helsing is another movie I wouldn't recommend you to watch, unless of course you have nothing else to do, and decided to watch something stupid that is. This movie is a parody of all the horror movie (the popular one) that have been haunted cinemas and tv screens for years and years. We talking Freddy Kruger, Halloween and Child's Play here. The storyline is bad, the joke is bad, the background is bad. The only good thing about this movie is that it's entertaining to watch, because it's stupid.

here a good 2/5 stars from me, this is me being generous.

The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, is a drama, and may I say a very strong one too. This is not any ordinary action or killing or comedy movie, this is a very deep and disturbing movie to say at least. It is a story of Pippa Lee, a simple housewife, with a lovely husband and 2 kids, but without an identity of her own. It wasn't always like that, she use to have a great life, a happy but dangerous life, but it all changed when she met her future husband. Due to an unforeseen circumstances, she changed herself, for the love of her life. But as time leap forwards, she realize that she wants to live again. This movie has a lot of flashback in it, so you have to keep up ok? Starring Robin Wright Penn, Winona Ryder, Blake Lively and many more.

I give this drama a 3.5/5 stars.

here is a good and funny action/comedy film, Zombieland is great for all movie. It tells a story after zombie take over the world (well pretty much United States). How to survive in the forsaken land, by following a simple rules of the main cast in the film, played by Jesse Eisenberg. The cast in the film are names by the city they from, they are Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita and Little Rock. Although this is a zombie movie, we won't see a lot of gore and blood, and more of the soft stuffs, you know..friendships, staying alive, weapons..that kind of soft stuffs...hehe. The storyline is great..no seriously, though there are certain plot where I recommend you skip through.

I give this one a 3.5/5 stars.
