do i have bipolar disorder?

what is bipolar dioreder you ask?well here a short definition by wikipedia..

Bipolar disorder, a mood disorder distinguished by cycles of depression and either mania or hypomania (once known as "manic-depression".)

bipolar disorder has 2 mood..mania and depression mood..both the mood has different symptoms..here are the symptoms..
  • Signs of mania

    • Increased activity and gestures (pacing, tapping feet)
    • Inflated self-esteem
    • Poor judgment
    • Racing thoughts
    • Decreased need for sleep
    • Poor temper control
    • Irritability
    • Pressured speech: The person speaks very fast, as if his or her mouth can't keep up with the rapid thoughts. The person may be unable to respond to social cues to stop talking.
    • Increased activities with high risk of painful consequences (sexual affairs, gambling, risky investments)
    • Psychotic symptoms

      • Delusions (false beliefs)
      • Hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that aren't real)

  • Signs of depression

    • Excessive worry
    • Excessive guilt
    • Sadness, crying spells
    • Loss of energy
    • Change in sleep pattern (insomnia at night, daytime sleepiness)
    • Major changes in appetite or weight
    • Feelings of worthlessness
    • Trouble concentrating
    • Social withdrawal
    • Lack of interest in previously enjoyable activities
    • Thoughts of death or suicide
so am i bipolar?i wouldn't know...i have 90 percents of the above symptoms..i dun have to tell which one..but i still need to see the doc for more accurate diagnosis...hehehe..

so is bipolar dangerous?well..it is if you dun know how to control it..but if you know what you have..its not life threating at all..

anep, from my understanding, kite semua sebenarnye same je.no one is weird because everyone is different from one another.you may or may not have a mental disorder.tp like,I think most of the ppl pernah rase nak bunuh diri or etc2,even I pon but of course, the thought is not taken seriously.i believe that humans are like machines.we are designated to feel/act/believe perkara B after perkara A berlaku.like for example, I get super moody (perkara B) after I tau I fail a paper (perkara A).and anep, I know your cerita, I think I know (or not, I cannot read minds) what happened or is happening to you right now (which is perkara A) and this reaction, which is you being down and everything is a predictable perkara B.so now, if you have enough strengh and you can think lebih2 mendalam, perhaps you dapat find ‘perkara C’ which is an anti kepada perkara A and perkara B.go out, make yourself happy, do something different.manelah tau things like skydiving ke, minum air sorang2 kat kedai kopi ke(ini contoh2 perkara C), can cure your melancholy feelings ke???like for me, perkara C adalah shopping sakan, makan-makan,berjalan2,listen to some pparticular music ke n sumtimes membace or sumtimes, watching sad stories pon boleh jadik my perkara C!surely you dah ade your ‘perkara c’ tp apekate you find new ‘perkara c’???

my perkara C?hmm...my perkara C is being wit frens...but since frens pun kadang2 takde..and frens yg dianggap frens,skrang pun dah mcm bukan frens..soooo...paham2 la..biarlah anip mcm nie..its not the best thing to do..but its sure is better than doing nothing..

that is why i told you to find a new perkara C. my lecturer tadi gave out good nasihats.he said that he alami everything we are alami now. yes, humans dulu and now are experiencing the same thing.maybe you shud ask for advises from older ppl?anyway, anep checked out my friend, aidzeera's blog.dia ade kate why ppl blog..interesting...aidzeera tu gf ijoy la
