Wangsa Walk Mall

today, I had a time to visit this new place near Wangsa Maju call the Wangsa Walk..Farid first told me about the new mall around July, and it was officially open on 16th September this year

when it was first open, there was nothing much about the mall..but there is a Cold Storage store in there..it is big..bigger than KLCC (which is the only Cold Storage store that I can think of)

but the mall has pretty decent line up of store already..from Secret Recipe to TGI Fridays...plus the mall also has this HUGE karaoke place..call the Superstar Karaoke, I haven't been inside yet..but from the outside, I think it is..great place for people like Fina or Affan or Nina or Seri..

however, there is not a single donuts store anywhere to be seen, not even in an advertisement saying there will be one..that's a bummer..

Wangsa Walk has also all the stores that one would expect, a book store Kedai Buku Popular, F.O.S, which is yet to be open...but this F.O.S is big, could be as big as the one in Sg.Wang...but I won't know until the store officially open..there is also a popular kopitiam up on the 2nd floor...why I said popular?due to the shear number of people just "lepak" there..I may try the place 1 day..

the mall also yet to open a cinema, Tanjung Golden Village or TGV that will be open there will consists of 9 cinema halls...so next time, the people in Wangsa Maju or anywhere near it, can just go here instead of KLCC or Mid Valley to catch a movie..

the biggest thing in the mall must be the new Celebrity's Fitness that is yet to be open, but when it does, it will be the 2nd largest Celebrity's Fitness franchise in Asia, so they say..they would be the people from Celebrity's Fitness la..

the mall also has this small area, much like the one in Sunway Pyramid, Asian Avenue, been there? yeah..but it's just a small space at the end of the Wangsa Walk Mall..but you can get pretty cheap stuffs there..oh and there are also Strudel's and Just Muffins

computer and IT stores on the 2nd floors, near the karaoke area, so this place pretty much have everything..

there will also be a 32 lanes bowling alley!! in the mall..and that's pretty much complete and idea of a mall..with development around the area, Wangsa Walk could be a gem in the north part of KL

although, the store is still pretty empty right now..there are some booth opening in the vast space of the corridor, this is a good idea, just like in KLCC, where you fill the corridor with small booths...too spacious seems too weird..

lastly, I can't seem to find the underground parking in the mall..seriously..there is a lof ot outside parking..but that's all it is..who's gonna park outside in the scorching sun right? probably I miss it..

so there you..a complete brief tour of the mall..if you're in the area...drop by~ till next time...here are some pics for you all

this is the small area that I said was like the Asian Avenue of Sunway Pyramid..

inside the small area..

the Superstar Karaoke..

the popular kopitiam I was talking about
