hey there,

the end of 2009 is almost here..what a year 2009 has been? a lot of happiness and sorrow

one of many significant events, is the first African-American President of US, Barack Obama..not to mention..and the most sad moment in this year is probably the departure of the King of Pop Micheal Jackson.

this year also sees the expansion of worldwide web and new social networking that gain popularity in short period, Twitter for instance take the world by storm..

the upset on American Idol..yes..who can forget this?

but as for me..

I finished my studies this year, though it take a little longer..there has been many ups and downs this year..from great friends, new friends to great moments..unforgettable memories..this has been the best year yet..

the worse and best moment for me this year, has got to be fighting with Seri, oh..its been a long time since I said that name..hahaha..well, its not like we gonna see each other again soon..anyway..its the worse moment coz well, who love to fight with your friends right?and it's the best moment cause, well all that I could think of when I think of Seri is the fight..weird..oh and the explanation for the fighting of course remain between me and her..all I can say is, its way way too weird to explain here..

there was also moments when we just hang out all day long doing nothing, until the day ended, or the no more class..yes..until we get kick out that is..hehe..but lets not forget all the free movies and TV series that I've provided, it seems my time as a supplier for you guys is over...

oh right, I had the best birthday cake this year..hehe, although I did bought it for myself..haha..and who can forget my first DSLR?though, I still am..technically owe my dad for this one..man! gonna pay this one up..haih!

not to mention, most of my friends, Convo this year..it was a sad moment..its a fact that all of us can't deny that one day, we might not see each other again...

and one of the best Iftar yet, thanks to Fina for organizing it..lets make next year a better one..I'm still voting for Palace of Golden Horses..

and who can forget the time we spend in Batu Caves?hahahaha..

so, the whole one year was without a doubt, one of the best year yet..I wish all of you the best year ahead..and may the years to come be a wonderful one...

as mention in the previous post, I was out with my sisters to catch the new Alvin and The Chipmunks, the 2nd movie has its pros and cons like any other movie, but I like this one better, it has a lil bit more drama when Alvin acted like a jerk in this one..

and new addition to the cast, The Chipettes, an all female chipmunk like Alvin and his brother, also a very great singers...

in this movie, we see some old casts came back, like Ian Hawke, the 1st movie's bad guy..only this time, he's poor and living in a basement of his previous company..but his luck turn around when The Chipettes came to his life, and here's where the real story started..

for those who love the 1st film, and is the fan of Alvin and The Chipmunks, this is a great movie to go and see, it is fills with laughter and drama..not to mention the music, I give this a 4/5 stars..

suddenly today I decided to go to Jusco Wangsa Maju...bring my sisters there to play in the arcade..since they kept bugging me to take them somewhere..(ingat abang korang ni cop duit ke?!)

anyway..tomorrow I'm going to bring them to watch the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie plak, I'm not a fan, but they kept bugging me, for at least a month now...this is what it is to be jobless and penniless..just wait till I get a decent job..I bring you to Disneyland! and not the one in Hong Kong, the original one! muahahahaha..ok enough..

Copenhagen Accord

ok, I'm gonna write something really boring here..so don't bother reading about them...unless of course you as worried as me..

the Climate Change Summit that taken place in Copenhagen that lasted 2 weeks, ended today..it was supposed to end on Friday, but with no possible deal happening, the summit was push to one more day..and a deal was made..but does it help? did the summit really tackle growing concern of climate change of the Earth?

the summit started relatively peaceful with developing and developed countries presenting their drafts on how to tackle and their commitment on reducing greenhouse gases, however as the dateline came closer, the tension increased, with desperation to create a deal where not only it benefit the developed countries but also the developing countries..

although the summit was attended by almost 192 world leaders, but most of the decisions was made by few developed and important nations, such as the US, China, and India..this resulted in some developing countries considered as a one way benefits to the important nations only..

however, if it wasn't for the midnight meeting of China, US, India, Brazil and S.Africa, on creating a deal with each other, the summit might fail all together...at last a deal was made and the summit does not end up in failure, but not a total victory too..

the last deal known as the Copenhagen Accord have a long-term objective, that states that all nations will be responsible in keeping the global temperature to rise at a maximum of 2 degrees only in the next centuries..this is achieved after studies show that by the end of the centuries, if no actions is taken now, the temperature could increase up to 4 to 6 degrees, and that's is too hot to handle..

the Copenhagen Accord also states that all nations will reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, from 2005 data..the accord also states that developing nations will reduce deforestation and in return they will be help by funding from developed and rich countries, $100 billion US dollars a year to be precise

although the summit did not end in failure, some said the deal that was made between the US, China, India, Brazil and S.Africa would only benefits the rich nations only..

in my opinion, although the deal might be one-sided only..its a small step that shows, if the leaders of powerful nations can sit down in 1 room to discuss this, changes can be made..it is now that we must commit ourselves to what we promise to save the Earth not for us, but for our children and grandchildren

ok..you know a lot of things about me right? so you guys also know I love this planet we call Earth right? apparently there is this shocking revelation that the warming of the Earth was a hoax..there are scientists who study this and was discredit because apparently the data was all made up..

so how did the polar ice cap melt?and where did all the ice cap in the Alps gone to?aliens took them?I don't think so..

I know this sounds like global warming was never there to begin with., but look at all the evidences, rising sea water, melting of ice caps, and ice caps does not simply melt..the dying of corals, the increase numbers of typhoons and hurricanes

some scientist however said that global warming is normal..because the Earth has cycle of ice age and warm period, and we are on the warm period..however, ice age will come next after a global warming..and ice age period is much worse than where we are now..

although more studies are needed to determine the cause of global warming, but I still believe we are the biggest contributor to it, here's a picture for you to ponder upon, click for larger view..

it has been great

and so it has ended, exam is over, my life as a student is over, and now just the rest of my life waiting for me out there..I kept thinking about this day, and now it is here..

today 19th Nov was the day..when we celebrate with a great pizza, great friends and great time...there will be some bad news, as I will probably close this blog and open a new one..but this is just a thought..

today, I had a plan to go see Biha, to give her a lot of movies that she's been nagging to me about..and she demand..yes DEMAND that I give her the movies..hahahaha

i've been quiet for a while

it has been raining for quite a while..I was thinking of putting a picture of thunderstorm that happened this evening, but it kinda depressing putting a raining picture here..hehehe...

there you go....yeah..I open my laptop and computer at the same time...this only happen when I have too much to do, and it require 2 computers, for example...playing computer games while scanning the other computer or downloading stuffs on the other computer and doing works on the other computer..that kind of too much to do things..and yes, my CPU is naked..better air conditioning..hehe

it has been quiet few days in my blog..yeah, I got nothing to do..been thinking about what life brings after this..looking forward to a lot of things, but a lot of things seems pretty hard to grab now..but hey, keeping my hope high..

anyway, I've got 2 big birthdays coming soon...this may not be a secret anymore, but hey I'm keeping this one shut just for the time being..anyway, the next paper on Thursday of 19th, got a lot of studying to do, and a lot after that...so...London, Paris, New York anyone?

ok..so here's another post about films reviews...told you I haven't been studying a lot..

there are several film that I would like to recommend here, and some you shouldn't waste your time watching it ok?

ok, the first movie is Couples Retreat, a film stars by Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell and many more big names (seriously). It tells a story of 4 couples that befriend one another but with stories of their own. When one of the couple are considering a divorce after a fail attempt of getting pregnant, they all decided (more likely drag into) to go for a vacation / therapy in Eden, a beautiful paradise-like vacations. Only that it isn't a vacation like they all imagine.

I give this movie a good solid 3.5/5 stars because of all the big hollywood's names, and also the fun and funny storyline. However, it could use more drama, somehow it feels too short..

the next thing after Blair Witch's Project, Paranormal Activity has claim many critics saying it's the best thing in horror. While I beg to differ, while some may consider it very scary, I somehow feels that it's pretty normal..seriously...almost all the tricks in the horror guide book are bein used in the movie, from strange noises to moving stuffs. However there are no running with video cam in this movie, which makes it a lot easier to watch without the urge to vomit. To those that thinks this is a real story,STOP, it is not a real story, it just a story written from the writer from their true experience, the only difference is that their experience don't have demonic possession in it. Overall the movie is disappointing, for me at least.

I give this film a 3/5 stars only.

Stan Helsing is another movie I wouldn't recommend you to watch, unless of course you have nothing else to do, and decided to watch something stupid that is. This movie is a parody of all the horror movie (the popular one) that have been haunted cinemas and tv screens for years and years. We talking Freddy Kruger, Halloween and Child's Play here. The storyline is bad, the joke is bad, the background is bad. The only good thing about this movie is that it's entertaining to watch, because it's stupid.

here a good 2/5 stars from me, this is me being generous.

The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, is a drama, and may I say a very strong one too. This is not any ordinary action or killing or comedy movie, this is a very deep and disturbing movie to say at least. It is a story of Pippa Lee, a simple housewife, with a lovely husband and 2 kids, but without an identity of her own. It wasn't always like that, she use to have a great life, a happy but dangerous life, but it all changed when she met her future husband. Due to an unforeseen circumstances, she changed herself, for the love of her life. But as time leap forwards, she realize that she wants to live again. This movie has a lot of flashback in it, so you have to keep up ok? Starring Robin Wright Penn, Winona Ryder, Blake Lively and many more.

I give this drama a 3.5/5 stars.

here is a good and funny action/comedy film, Zombieland is great for all movie. It tells a story after zombie take over the world (well pretty much United States). How to survive in the forsaken land, by following a simple rules of the main cast in the film, played by Jesse Eisenberg. The cast in the film are names by the city they from, they are Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita and Little Rock. Although this is a zombie movie, we won't see a lot of gore and blood, and more of the soft stuffs, you know..friendships, staying alive, weapons..that kind of soft stuffs...hehe. The storyline is great..no seriously, though there are certain plot where I recommend you skip through.

I give this one a 3.5/5 stars.

Playboy Magazine announced that Marge Simpson will be on it's November cover..and I was searching for it..not because of the OBVIOUS reason, but just to take an understanding of this really beautiful interior and exterior women..SO BS!

AND I FOUND IT!!

I won't post the pic here, it's not arousing at all..instead, it look kinda dull..but what fun is the interview of Marge Simpson...I'm gonna post that here...for the pic, try google or youtube ok?I'm not gonna post any link here..and more info..they gonna be more pics of Marge in The Devil Wears Nada airing Nov 15th, can't wait for that!

rambling before tomorrow

hah..update blog..aku ada test esok..tapi terasa nak update gak blog nie

so here something new, most of you haven't heard it yet, but my dad is taking early retirement this year..it's no surprise..I've been talking to my friends how different PETRONAS now..well, after this, the sole supporter of the family would be my mom, but I bet she won't be staying there long...I give another year...

well..the problem now is money..hmm..I wonder how they gonna support 4 more child that still in school? I really hope I got a job real quick..then they can let me go off their support list..isn't it time I do all the supporting?

if I do get the job in PETRONAS most probably half of it goes to the family..well..not the whole family, but mostly to the twin...it's a harsh world out there..in order to survive, one most overdo thing..

I was studying..NO really..I WAS! but then there's this movie that captivate my attention, hahaha...All The Boys Love Mandy Lane..well it's an old movie, out in 2006 I think, it's about this really beautiful girl, where all the boys love..and guess what's her name...that's right..Mandy Lane...DUH~

anyway...that's not the reason I'm writing, I wanna take your attention to the main cast of the movie, Amber Heard..have you guys heard of her? yeah..me too...but she's beautiful!! (but Megan still the hottest)

ok...just a quick update....class for this sem is officially over for me, next Monday got some serious test with some serious subject...never studied for that subject..but hey..being an optimistic human being..I DON'T CARE..hahahaha..mati la aku~

anywaaay...I've been busy updating and changing a few things in my Blog List that I followed..I added up some new friends that blog as well..and I deleted some that made their blog's private or just change their address...don't need them in the list no more (as if they care if they are in the list..)

if they want to make their blog private..it's their choice..I respect privacy.........AS LONG AS I CAN READ IT!!

neway..just got a hard hit of reality in life that's my life as a student is almost over..in a month from now..my life will be completely meaningless UNLESS I got a job..damn! I wish I never grew up..then I could be a kid and eat anything I want and do anything I like...argh...REALITY SUCKS BIG TIME!

oh right, I put up a list of blogs that aren't my friend...mostly celebs..and Nicolekiss..do go to her blog..a great travel blog that's in Project Alpha right now..in her blog, its as if she's been doing nothing but traveling her whole life..how cool is that?

hmm..terlanjur pulak cerita..hehehe

from Cheras to Kuantan

HELLO!!!

a quick greetings since I'm gonna talk a lot in this 1 post...

I never get the chance to update after Fina's open house the other day because I went all the day to Kuantan to see my lil bro, that is still in college..thank God for that!

let's us start with Fina's open house, wait.....it wasn't an open house exactly...it's more like...makan-makan with university's friends...she did invited all of our batch..

anyway..the way to Fina's house was relatively easy..it would be better if it weren't for all that congestion...that's what you get for living in KL...hehe..

the food was great..her family was amazing..not to mention the kuih raya she baked...it was DELICIOUS!! walaupun resepi baru!

thank you la Fina sebab ajak kita orang...lastly gud luck in the future with your job..hope everything goes smoothly~


and skrang we come into the part where I went to Kuantan..

the reason we went there was to try a whole lot of good foods my dad been talking about to me...so memandangkan adik aku ada kat sana, and Deepavali fell in Saturday, my dad decided to bring all of us there...

now I must stress here..the reason was all about food..ok?so don't be surprise if I gain a few kilos..just a few!

so, the first day in Kuantan we had a very BIG dinner...it was in this place..which I never know their name...but it's next to this some famous cendol..hehehe...surprisingly good..but a lil expensive...the next day, my dad took us to this sate place for dinner..Terminal Zul..he has been talking about eating here from the very beginning he heard this place..and it wasn't bad at all...no, instead it was really good..they have all kind of sate from chicken to stomach to deer...and it's really really popular, don't come after 9pm, or you won't get to taste it..the last place we have to go and eat is the popular Nasi Ayam Gemas, it's not that popular in Kuantan, but if you're in Gemas, it's a local celebrity there..no wonder it's so popular in Gemas..it's mouth watering!

now..in between lunch and dinner..we had a lot of other foods, from cendol to ABC to air kelapa...hehe

there you go, I told you most of the trip is about food...I don't have any pics of the place, but hey..at least you get the picture..
